Annie Francis O'Brien - (April 18th, 1936 - March 14th, 2017) - Passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John's on Tuesday March 14, 2017, aged 80yrs. Predeceased by her son Terry O'Brien. Leaving to mourn Lenny (Colleen) Bernadette, Tina, Mark, Pam (Steve), grandchildren, Jody, Jennifer (Mike), Stephanie (Jake), Holly, Justin (Krista), Tyler, Brendan. Great-grand children Griffen, Michaela, Alex, Brendan, Hudson, Xavier, Addison, and Lyla. Three sisters Teresa, Christina (Billy), and Margarite (Joe). Brother John, special in-law Jean Walsh, nieces and nephews as well as relatives and friends Lavern and Maureen. A special thank you to St. Clare's Mercy Hospital and the Palliative Care at the Miller Centre. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Friday, March 17th from 2 - 9 pm and Saturday March 18th from 10am - 12pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from Immaculate Conception R. C. Church, Cape Broyle on Saturday March 18th at 1:15pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Gathering Place.

Later Dave managed to clarify the fuzzy parts of this obituary by speaking with Enid O'Brien, Cyril was a first cousin once removed of Annie Francis's husband, who is not mentioned in the obit somewhat suspiciously. His name was Ernest O'Brien and Dave already knew this but did not know the surname of Annie Francis. Turns out it is Walsh:
"They clue to who she was was provided by Enid, I called her and she told me she was a Walsh From St. Michaels/Bauline South."
