Three men named Winsor or Winser (Richard, Thomas and Joseph) appear for the first time in the Denbury church register during the years 1616 to 1621. I am making the assunption that they are brothers and that for reasons unknown they all came to Denbury with their wives and in some cases families at about this same time. There were no names similar to Winsor in this church register priot to their appearance.

Jill Marshall published burial records from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Southside, in the Newfoundland Ancestor, Vol. 28-1 in 2012. In many cases she added in her own thoughts on who the person in question might be. She found a burial for a person named Sarah Ann Butler and concluded this was the Sarah Ann Winsor who married William Azarias Butler in Aquaforte. However the age at death is problematic and I now have found other information on Find a Grave that appears to show that this couple moved to BC and died out there. On balance, though there are flaws with both assumptions, I favour the information found on Find a Grave and am therefore changing the death and burial information for Sarah Ann [Winsor] Butler to accord with that information today. For the record, here is what Jill Marshall wrote about the death that she found:
"Sarah Ann BUTLER, Insane Asylum, Nov 2 1881, 48 (Candidate if age is out by about 6 yrs:
Sarah Ann WINSOR bap 1827 Dartmouth Devon, dau of Jacob, who married 1851 to William A
Butler of Port de Grave she of Aquaforte)"
