Almost all the dates in the family bible are in conflict with dates for the same events found elsewhere and are questionable.

• Minister/Priest: H. H. Hamilton, 7 Oct 1845, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Note that while this record appears in the St. Thomas's register, the baptism more than likely took place in Ferryland at St. Luke's. That was where H. H. Hamilton was then minister.

Notes
General:
I wrote the note below before receiving corroborating evidence from Helen Steinke that these two, first cousins, actually did marry one another. He was not born in Aquaforte as Aunt Jean reported but in Dartmouth, Devon, England.

"This pairing is curious in that both have the same Surname. One wonders if Aunt Jean didn't mix them up and that Dan Henry Winsor was the son of Peter Winsor and Sarah Payne and Caroline was only a Winsor by marriage. Needs to be researched. Also his place of birth is shown as uncertain in LDS records while Caroline's is certain."

General:
Some records show year of death as 1851

290806:

Erected by Dan Henry & Caroline Windsor In Memory of of their son Dan Henry dep April 10 1851 age 10 years

In particular, the gravestone gives the actual date of death as April 10 1851. But I am not sure if it is to be trusted because it has clearly been drawn over many times to "restore" the weathered writing. On balance I think I will leave the dates as found in the church records until such time as proof of one or the other is found.
