Notes
General:
160916:

Although it is not 100% certain, I believe this is the same person named Nicholas Le Messurier who was the master of the vessel LE DAUPHIN that was commissioned to sail from London to Québec city on July 3, 1762 carrying a large group of French immigrants. See the document pertaining to this contract in the Media Gallery, which I found in The Rooms 1000-2000 series of files.

This was what might be considered to be an advance party of remotely related Le Messuriers emigrating to the US - San Pedro, California of all places for some reason. At this time I am not familiar with the exact relationship that existed amongst the four on this sailing but the person referred to as " Ernest" is actually Francis Ernest and his family followed afterwards. One of the others mentioned is referred to as "Osborne". His name is actually Osmond.

• Residence: 1925, San Diego, San Diego, California, United States of America.
