Elizabeth Agnes called "Liz" (5/1/1916-7/10/2009) md X 2. Her first marriage was to John called "Jack" Flood (8/6/1916-7/10/2009) son of Gregory Flood from St. John's but the Floods are originally from Holyrood and Margaret Walsh from Kilbride. Liz and Jack lived on Southside Road West almost into Kilbride. Later they lived in Kilbride (the Walsh family owned a lot of land in Kilbide), Forest Pond, Brownrigg Place and Twillingate Place. Our friend, Ida (White) Michael lives in Liz's basement apartment on Twillingate Place. It is where I met Ida. Her second marriage was to Cornelius Ronayne was widower of Margaret Broderick. "Con" (8/1921-7/2/1989 was originally from Tors Cove, son of Bridget O'Keefe and William Ronayne but he was raised in Mount Cashel when his parents died. Con was a well known musician in St. John's and a member of the popular Princess orchestra.

No children with Con Ronayne although Con had children with his first wife. Liz and Con were md late in life.

Notes
General:
Email from Enid O'Brien dated 21/11/01:

"Hi Chris: Just to put your curiosity at rest regarding the Minty site I was actually researching the name Baird/Beard. My father was md X 2 and his first wife was a descendant of the Baird family."

301110 from Enid O'Brien:

Dad (James Stanford) was born Feb 27/1892 - 1/10/1956) in St. John's. The family lived on Tessier Place when he was born but were burned out with the great fire of 1892 when they moved to Water Street West., Mill Bridge Lane and later to 469 Southside Road when he married Mame Baker in 1913 and he remained there until he died. Dad was a very strong, big, gentle man. He worked at McKeen's Tannery on Waterford Bridge Road when he was married and was a sailor on the Sunset Glow from 1929-1939. This was a container schooner owned by Harvey and Company which went around the NL coast and Labrador picking up fish from plants. Among other things dad would do the hiring of men to load the ship when they reached port. He had many stories to tell about those days and particular about Labrador which was very primitive at that time. Later Harvey & Company was bought by Job Brothers and dad was foreman/manager for Job Brothers Cold Storage Division. He remained there until he died.
