Hi Chris:

I don't know if you have this already. He is the son of Philip White and Catherine Carroll. I know he was alive in 1894 when his father died.

The only information found about Rev James M. White was that he was born about 1872, probably in Newfoundland, and he attended St. Bon's inthe late 1890s. He was attending Carlow College in Ireland for 5 years from 1893-1898 and was ordained at Carlow College in 1898 at age 26. He attended the Silver Jubilee of Archdeacon O'Neill in St. John's in 1902. In 1904 he sent a letter to the Adelphian magazine. No further information was found. His date of death is unknown.
