301111: Information from a website now defunct which used to be located at http://www.angelfire.com/hi3/ebsary/geohutch.html and which was referred to as "George Hutchings and Mary Monier Williams" site is quoted by Paul Kirby on the Kirby family website on Myfamily.com. There it suggests she was the 10th child in this family.

When Eliza Coke [Hutchings] Le Messurier died young, her parents, George and Mary [Williams] Hutchings made over the "Marsh Meadow" property at the west end of Duckworth St. to Peter Weston Carter to be managed in trust for her children by Pierre Broom Le Messurier. This seems to indicate a distrust on their part that he would adequately look after their children himself. It was noted in the papers that one granchild, John Thomas Le Messurier, was born deaf and dumb, making him particularly vulnerable.
