My gm's childhood home (owned by Robert Lovett) was in the trees by the road on the Carter grant (see community mapping and pic of house and stages). We scooped up the Carter grant. My mother spent her summers there and I visited as a boy when my great-uncle Dick Lovett was still alive. Their fishing stages were where the fish plant is shown and their land was known as "Tansy Bed". The Windsor house next door was the "Retreat".

Leaving to mourn are her loving husband, Jimmy, three sons, Joe and wife Aggie at Aquaforte, Alfred and wife Marie at Fermeuse, Robert at home, three daughters: Ann Marie and husband Dave Wells at Gander, Ida and husband Aus Gardiner at Conche and Gertie at home. Also six grandchildren, Kris, Sean, Pamela, Jamie, Sheryl and Gillian, plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Remains resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church Ferryland on Tuesday, April 1st at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery Ferryland.
