Not sure whether they actually lived in Petty Harbour or it is just the place where their christening and marriage events were recorded as that was the registry centre for both Anglican and RC records on the Southern Shore for some time.

19-Jun 1858 St. Johns Robert MORRY, bach, merchant, Caplin Bay Maria Victoria Matilda WINSOR, spin, Ferryland Robert Morry, M.N. LeMessurier STJB Maria V.M. Winsor was bapt Oct 23 1834, the dau of Henry WINSOR of Aquaforte & Ann COULMAN of Ferryland.
NB: It is possible but unlikely that another Robert Morry witnessed this marriage but I think not as I know of no other in this area at the time. Most likely this is a transcription error and the witness was a Robert Carter.
More likely the error results from there being two entries one in the St. Thomas register where the marriage was actually performed and one in the Cathedral register. St. Thomas served as a termporary stand in for the Cathedral whilst it was being restored following a fire and there were often double entries and also often errors were made. The version recorded by Nimshi Crewe from the Anglican Cathedral register on 14 Nov. 1966 (MG281) seems to be more plausible with no mention of Robert Morry as a witness.

Notes
General:
In an email dated 3/11/ 99 from Enid O'Brien: "Robert and Victoria Morry lost most of their children in a diptheria epidemic, I believe Victoria had a nervous breakdown and her children were brought up by an uncle."
The name is often shown as Victoria Maria Mathilda Winsor. On Aunt Jean's records it shows Marie, but this is evidently a transcription error on her part.
An email from Anne LeMessurier Lilly on August 28, 2001 confirms and adds to this information:
"My great-grandfather Robert was a sea captain and was gone for months at a time. A diphtheria epidemic broke out in Ferryland. Robert andVictoria's children were stricken with the disease. Once one child had the disease, the family was quarantined in their home, because it was so contagious. There was no medical help. My great-grandmother nursed her 7 children as best she could, but in the space of one week, 6 died. People in the community passed a coffin in through the window of her home. She would have to place her child in the coffin and push it out the window. This happened 6 times. Because of the quarantine, she was not even permitted to go to their funerals. I wonder how she maintained her sanity! My great-grandfather returned from a voyage to a wife and one child - when he had departed, he had 7 children! I've known this story for years but it still moves me profoundly that they survived such a terrible tragedy. Would we be able to do so today?! What a strong woman my great-grandmother must have been. Dad remembers her as an old lady wearing a lace cap on top of her head and sitting ramrod straight in her chair, even into her nineties. Only their eldest daughter, Bertha survived the illness. Helena, my grandmother, was born afterwards."
261106: George LeMessurier family tree shows she went by the name Victoria
020713:
Victoria is the name by which she is most often referred in various sources.
030713:
Although the family did live in Kilbride for a time it is not certain that she died there. The entry in the bible is incomplete (the date given is 21 Dec. 19--) so it is possible the location is not certain either.
[NB: I noted later from a transcript of the obituary in the newspaper found in the Nimshi Crewe Fonds (MG281) that she did indeed die in Kilbride at the home of G. W. Le Messurier, her son-in-law]
030713:
Note that this record in the family bible is attributed to "M. A. L. M." , presumably a Le Messurier but I do not know which one. Like almost all the dates in the bible, it conflicts with dates for the events found elsewhere and is highly questionable.
100916:
The transcript of the Petty Harbour birth/baptism record on NGB shows that the original inverted the dates of these two events so I am reversing them now.
